Buchteln
Originally from Bohemia, but well-known and appreciated in various national cuisines such as Austrian, Hungarian and Ladin cuisine, the Buchteln are delicious sweet muffins made with yeast dough, filled with jam and cooked in a pan so that sticking to an all 'other. The traditional Buchteln are filled with Powidl (jam made without added sugar) or covered with a sauce of plums and vanilla it is no coincidence that in Vienna are served in a popular coffee shop in the city where they are the specialty of the house and that they are prepared according to ancient and secret family recipe. |
