St. Vitus Cathedral
Seat of the Archbishop of Prague, St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague and is today a symbol of the entire Czech Republic and is a must for travelers to visit one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. An excellent example of Gothic architecture, the cathedral contains within it several tombs of many Bohemian kings and emperors of the Holy Roman Empire, making it the largest and most important church in the country. The current cathedral is the third church built in the same place, after the two religious buildings dedicated at San Vito. Right here in this cathedral took place about thirty coronations of kings and princes of Bohemia and their respective wives, in addition to also become the resting place of many monarchs: it is precisely here that about fifteen monarchs are buried. Still, the south tower of the cathedral you can enjoy a wonderful view of Prague.
