San Felipe Neri
Built in the seventeenth century, the convent of San Felipe de Blacks represents the expression of ostentatious power of the Catholic Church in the nascent American society. From the terraces, (in the middle between the domes of the roofs of shingles built in colonial style, with towers and spiers adorned with silver from the mines of Potosi), you can admire the beautiful and picturesque views of the city, enriched by beautiful roofs of colonial homes, made with red clay tiles and the equally splendid carved wooden balconies. San Felipe Blacks, once a monastery, is known for its catacombs, which were used by both prelates during the riots, both by the guerrillas during the political unrest in secret to cross the city and parish school is now called the White City of the Americas, title Sucre holds that due to the outward appearance of the convents of the city.
