Originally from Silesia, but widespread and appreciated far beyond the borders of Poland, the Streuselkuchen is a tasty delicacy capable to satisfy anyone who loves the taste of good food. It literally means cake crumbs and is so called becauseit is made of a yeast dough covered with a sweet and crispy crumb topping referred to as streusel, in addition to the basical ingredients such as sugar, fat and flour, ingredients that can obviously vary according to personal taste.
