Taste not unlike that of a liqueur, krupnik or krupnikas is an alcoholic beverage with a sweet taste popular in Lithuania and Poland. The krupnik is based on grain spirit and honey, in particular of clover, which are added over 50 herbs. Clearly it is the honey that gives the drink its sweet taste. Sometimes, the beverage is heated before being served and consumed.
