Surrounded by greenery, the Savoy Castle is a fabulous villa in nineteenth-century neo-Gothic style built between the late nineteenth and early twentieth century by the architect Emilio Stramucci at the behest of Queen Margherita who spent many holidays or business trips until 1925. With a stunning view of Monte Rosa and a majestic staircase on the ground floor, the Savoy Castle also contains splendid frescoes and exquisite furnishings and is also distinguished by the colored Murano glass. |
