Kushari
A typical dish of traditional Egyptian cuisine based on rice, pasta, lentils and chickpeas, and that you add a layer of Egyptian garlic, vinegar are mixed with spicy tomato sauce. Everything is usually garnished with fried onions which help to give the dish a special flavor. An ideal dish for vegans and vegetarians, given the lack of meat, but lately is becoming the custom to add fried liver or shawarma meat, given their economic costs. If Egypt is considered a national dish, the Koshari is prepared in other parts of the Middle East and is known by other names, in Palestine, for example, is called mjadarah, while in Syria mudardara. Of Persian origin, a popular dish among tourists thanks to its ingredients, (except perhaps the spicy tomato sauce), is a light meal and delicious.
