How can we speak of Lusitanian cuisine without talking about cod? One of the most delicious typical products of Portugal capable of delighting anyone who loves the intense flavors of the sea, the pastéis de bacalhau (name in Southern Portugal, particularly in the Lisbon area), also known as bolinhos de bacalhau (so called in the northern part of Portugal and in Brazil, while in the French Antilles are known as Accras de morue), are a unique delicacy, very delicious, capable to satisfy the most demanding palates; it is realized by using just salt cod, potatoes, eggs, parsley and other minor ingredients and can be enjoyed both as a unique dish, and as appetizer full of taste.
