Christ the Redeemer
Included among the seven wonders of the modern world, the imposing statue of Christ the Redeemer stands on top of Corcovado Mountain in Rio de Janeiro. Not coincidentally, is one of the most famous monuments in the world and is now a symbol of the city and Brazil. Not to be missed for those who went on a visit to the city of Rio de Janeiro, the Christ the Redeemer statue is the largest Art Deco in the world and is increasingly global, the fifth largest statue of Jesus, also for a long time , the work was the tallest statue of Jesus in the world, until November 2010 when it was exceeded by 6.5 meters from the statue of Christ the King raised to S'wiebodzin, in western Poland. But the statue is worth visiting for its ability to instill a sense of calm and serenity that visitors can, among other things, enjoy wonderful views over the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro.
