Copper or silver, porcelain or gold, or even metal, the samovar are containers that are traditionally used in Russia, the Slavic countries and in other countries like Iran and Turschia to heat water and then, for making tea. Precisely for this reason the samovar are fitted in the upper part of a housing adapted to support and heat a pot of tea concentrate. Used in times gone by to keep the hot water and therefore become comfortable in different occasions such as for long journeys, the samovar today, besides being a way of making tea, can act as attractive ornaments ideal for decorating own unique design, giving the surroundings a very attractive appearance. Equipped with a tap at the bottom, the urn may have the most varied forms: in urn or crater, cylindrical, spherical, smooth, or finely wrought gold and, furthermore, these pleasing objects can be electric or solid fuel.
