Città situata a 322 mt. sul livello del mare, nel cuore della Toscana, Siena mantiene intatta la caratteristica apparenza medievale, con vicoli stretti e nobili palazzi contornati da un bellissimo paesaggio collinare. Siena e’ un’antica città medioevale sorta su tre colli e circondata da mura, che accoglie i suoi visitatori con il motto, scritto sulla Porta Camollia: Cor Magi tibi Seni pandit (Siena ti apre il suo cuore ancora più di questa porta). L’identità della provincia senese ragruppa ben trentasei comuni e otto aree di interesse turistico a cui fa capo Siena. Indiscusso simbolo della città è la Torre del Mangia, nella celebre Piazza del Campo da secoli teatro del Palio.

Siena is an ancient medieval town, that was born on three hills and was enclosed by walls. Still today, it welcomes its visitors with this motto, written on the Camollia Door: “Cor Magi tibi Seni pandit” (Siena opens its heart to you, even more than its door). The undisputed symbol of the town is the tower Torre del Mangia, in the renowed Piazza del Campo, that has been the theatre of the Palio for many centuries.
