Sabbia bianca e finissima e mare cristallino sono le principali caratteristiche di Marina di Massa; questo rinomato centro balneare è uno dei dei centri turistici del litorale toscano. Un'altra particolarità, unica fra tutte le località toscane, sono le scogliere artificiali che, partendo dalla spiaggia, si inoltrano nel blu del mare per oltre cento metri e create per placare il fenomeno di erosione che avrebbe così eliminato buona parte di queste bellissime spiagge.
