Camaiore, oltre ad essere una rinomata localita' turistica, e' anche ricca di storia: i primi insediamenti, infatti, risalirebbero gia' all'epoca romana; cio' sarebbe testimoniato dalla tipica pianta del castrum romano. La localita', pero', presenta numerosi luoghi da visitare: la Chiesa di S. Maria Assunta, Piazza Diaz, l'abbazia di S. Pietro e tanto altro ancora.

In addition to be a renowned tourist destination, Camaiore is rich in history, too. In fact, the first settlement must date back to the Roman age: the typical Roman castrum map would witness it. But the town presents a lot of tourist itineraries that deserve to be visited such as the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, Piazza Diaz, St Peter's cloister and so on.
