Una vera e propria incredibile opera della natura, il fungo di Piana Crixia si trova sulla sponda sinistra della Bormida di Spigno. Il fungo è alto una quindicina di metri, ed è costituito da un gigantesco masso sorretto da una colonna conglomerata. Uno schema esposto lungo il sentiero illustra la nascita e l'evoluzione del fungo.

True and proper unbelievable work of the nature, the fungo (mushroom) of Piana Crixia is on the left bank of the Bormida di Spigno. The mushroom is fifteen metres tall and it's composed by a giant rock sustained by a conglomerated column. A pattern has been exposed along the pathway in order to explain the nature and the evolution of the mushroom.
