Borgo di notevole interesse storico, Moneglia propone ai visitatori la Fortezza di Villafranca (1176), costruita per fronteggiare le invasioni dei saraceni, oppure l'Oratorio del Disciplinanti (Sec. XII), affrescato e più volte restaurato, attiguo alla chiesa di Santa Croce (1130) dove troverete le catene del Porto di Pisa, bottino di guerra all'epoca delle Repubbliche Marinare.
