I caruggi sono frequentatissimi soprattutto nelle sere del week-end dai giovani. Non è un caso che qui si respiri sempre un'aria festosa ed allegra ideale per chi vuole divertirsi.

Simili ai caruggi sono le cosiddette crêuze, ovvero mulattiere, o scalinate, o ancora piccole salite. Vicino al mare, la crêuza viene detta crêuza de mä, (crêuza di mare), come il titolo di una delle più famose canzoni di Fabrizio De André, che già ebbe modo di dedicare una canzone ad un famoso caruggio: Via del Campo. There are other elements that look like to the carruggi, too: the crêuze, that can mean mule tracks, staircases or little up slopes. The crêuza placed near the sea is called crêuza de mä (the sea crêuza), a title of a famous of Fabrizio De André's song, who dedicated a song to an other famous caruggio: Via del Campo. The caruggi give you cheerfulness.
