The Caruggi
Caruggi
Typical narrow streets of the town, exactly called caruggi (or carruggi, or carrugi, too), where you can find majestic palaces and so on.
The caruggi are very frequented by young people during the week-ends at night. No wonder if here you can always find a cheerful and frisky atmosphere ideal for those who are going to amuse themselves.

There are other elements that look like to the carruggi, too: the crêuze, that can mean mule tracks, staircases or little up slopes. The crêuza placed near the sea is called crêuza de mä (the sea crêuza), a title of a famous of Fabrizio De André's song, who dedicated a song to an other famous caruggio: Via del Campo. The caruggi give you cheerfulness.
