Punto forte di questa località è sicuramente il litorale.
Le spiagge infatti ricoprono l'intera estensione di tutta la cittadina ligure. Nei dintorni di Cogoleto sorgono inoltre, nascoste nella miriade di piccole insenature, romantiche spiagge raggiungibili percorrendo a piedi l'antica tratta della ferrovia sul mare, dismessa negli anni sessanta.

The hard point of this locality is surely the coast. Actually the beaches hold the whole extension of all the township. Moreover, hidden in the myriad of small bays, romantic beaches rose around Cogoleto, and they are reachable by walking along the ancient railway leg on the sea, casted off during some years ago, in the 60s.
