Maschio Angioino
Also known as the Castel Nuovo, Maschio Angevin is now a symbol of the city of Naples. Built in the thirteenth century during the reign of Charles I of Anjou, the castle is strategically located in the center of the city majestically overlooking the sea. Composed of five cylindrical towers, the castle is surrounded by a moat, while the side facing the sea has the Palatine Chapel, also known as the Church of San Sebastian. The structure is therefore a destination not to be missed for lovers of art, history and culture.
