Considered by many to be a national dish of Venezuela, the Pabellón Criollo is a very delicious dish. S is essentially the local version of Caribbean dishes with rice and beans and is made only with rice and beans stewed blacks which are sometimes added other ingredients such as banana slices fried or fried eggs, for which the dish takes a different name: Pabellón with barandas (the version with fried bananas) or Pabellón a caballo. The Pabellón with barandas is an almost humorous name of the dish, so that tells you in Spanish barandas gard rail meaning so that the slices of plantain-hand side would prevent the release of food out of the pot, while the Pabellón a caballo is so called because the egg ride food. Among the other variants of the dish have to remember that the Pavilion with arepas, ideal for a hearty breakfast buffet provides for the substitution of rice with the arepa, a small circular bread made with cornmeal and white Pabellón vegetarian, as the name suggests, is a dish without meat.
