Probably of Egyptian origin, considered almost a national dish in Israel (enough to be offered in the menu of restaurant Jews) and very popular in Middle Eastern countries, falafel today are renowned and appreciated worldwide due to the delicacy which characterizes them, a delicacy due the ingredients that compose it: very fragrant and spicy fried meatballs, made with beans or chickpeas with chopped leek or onion, garlic, cumin and coriander, falafels are a real treat for the palate thanks precisely to the significant presence of food components which help to give an intense and irresistible falafel. To taste freshly prepared, falafel today in the Middle East can also be purchased at special stalls, while in Europe were introduced by the Turkish grills as an alternative to the vegetarian kebab.
